So,
it’s a little late but I’ve managed to
get the NEWS and SCHEDULE pages updated for the next
few months! YEAH! I know you’re probably wondering,
“What’s the hold up!” Well, I guess
life is the only answer I can come up with honestly!
You know how it is, you put it off until tomorrow
so many times that it should have been done yesterday,
last week, or the week before that! So, suddenly,
that’s where we are now - the week before that!
But, enough about my time management skills - let’s
get to the music!
Like
I promised, here is an in depth, up-to-the-minute,
summary of where I stand musically! Blayne and I have
been working with a good friend of ours, Damon Capello,
on recording some of my originals, as well as some
new songs Damon has written for me. Of course, with
everyone’s hectic schedules, it’s a painstakingly
slow process! We should be finished sometime before
the next millennium! lol But seriously, it’s
in the works, so you’ll have to learn to be
as patient as I’ve had to be for the last 14
years……geez, has it been that long…I
guess it has! My band, Mojo Five, has started playing
a couple of the new songs Damon wrote for me. One
is a really cool bluesy, rockin’, SRV- meets-Clapton
tune called “Trouble.” The other is more
in keeping with the “Set Me Free” vibe,
called “Playin’ In The Rain.” Be
sure to listen, or ask, for the new songs…as
well as the “old” ones, “Cruisin’”
and “Set Me Free” next time you check
out a Mojo Five show!
